Bredbånd is the older sister of Samlebånd, which is for small children.
You begin by knitting the band in the middle. Then you pick-up the stitches and knit above and below the band. The band is knitted using a simple cabling technique which does not require a cabling needle. It is really fun and simple - you can watch the video below to see the technique.
The yoke part decreases evenly and the model is finished off with an i-cord edge. The model is worked in stockinette stitch.
