The Lykketræf blanket is related to Lykketræf, as the same fan decreases are used. The 2 models work really well as a maternity set.
The blanket is started in the middle, and 4 places are worked with fans - simple purl and knit decreases. The rest is knit and purl and it's easy. Knit the blanket as big as you like, and since it doesn't have to "fit", you can use whatever needle and yarn you like.
This blanket is knitted in Geilsk Tynd uld, which provides a deliciously light material. You can also use Geilsk Bomuld og uld, so you get a slightly heavier material, but also nice and soft.
Size: 90 x 90 cm
Guiding yarn usage:
Geilsk Tynd uld, 288m/50g: 4 skeins
Geilsk Bomuld og uld, 232m/50g: 5 skeins
Needle sizes: 3.5 mm double pointed needles and circular needles - it's smart to have multiple lengths
Knitting gauge: 10 x 10 cm = 23 sts x 46 rows in double crochet
Accessories: 4 green tags and 4 red tags

Your pattern will arrive as a download in your inbox. It does this regardless of whether you have ordered it as a knitting kit or as a loose pattern. A printed pattern is also included in your knitting kit.
